The Social Media Manager will be responsible for strengthening relationships with customers and communities across the brand’s social platforms. This role will leverage data, and brand guidelines to optimize social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter with a focus on improving engagement, driving web traffic, and supporting conversion and sales goals. To do so effectively, this person will build and execute social media strategy through competitive and audience research and optimize company pages within each social media platform. Ideal candidates for this role must have a solid understanding of each social media channel and the levers to improve engagement and effectiveness. Additionally, this role will be responsible for engaging and responding to relevant social conversations on behalf of the brand.


  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
  • Oversee content calendars and syndication schedules
  • Report out on performance and key KPI’s including growth, engagement and conversion to internal audiences
  • Collaborate with teams including Marketing, Creative, and Product to generate and publish content- ensuring material is brand-right and relevant to audiences
  • Optimize company pages within each platform
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with internal guidelines
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information


  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
  • Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels Relevant Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with leveraging audience and buyer persona/segmentation research
  • Intermediate knowledge of social media KPIs
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations preferred
