Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts
- Payable (AP), month-end and year-end close processes, cash management, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Guarantee accurate and timely financial reporting, encompassing month-end, quarter end, and year-end close activities.
- Prepare and deliver financial statements in a timely manner.
- Ensure robust internal controls are in place and maintain compliance with GAAP, as well as relevant federal, state, and local regulations for financial and tax reporting.
- Create and implement financial policies and procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency and profitability.
- Work with President, VP Finance and Logistics Manager to ensure on time delivery of product
- Collaborate with external 3PLand Logistics Manager to have a detailed and accurate projection of inventory status .
- Provide senior management with insights and recommendations on financial performance, potential risks, and opportunities.
- Actively seek cost-saving measures and engage in financial planning.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years in senior finance experience
- Fashion industry experience preferred; e-commerce knowledge a plus.
- Expertise in financial reporting; familiar with NetSuite ERP, RLM Sage Mas90, and Shopify.
- Proven leadership in senior financial roles, driving innovative strategies with executive teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, growth-oriented, with high emotional intelligence.
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally.
