Account Executive – Footwear/Outerwear
Chicago, IL OR Los Angeles, CA
Our client is seeking a Footwear Account Executive who has a keen understanding of the retailers in the fast fashion and contemporary footwear industry. Candidates can reside in either Los Angeles or Chicago.
Responsibilities:
- Elevating and managing account partnerships
- Identify and create new partnership opportunities through cold calling, emailing, etc.
- Network with prospective clients to have a win-win growth strategy in the branded and private label business
- Leverage existing relationships and contacts with buyers in the women’s fashion retailers, online retailers, and private label businesses to drive business
- Assess and plan specific quarterly and annual sales plans and goals with team
- Ensure sales and productivity goals are met YOY
- Devise new and innovative ways to market products and drive growth
- Analyze monthly selling goals and reports to understand and drive business
- Attend Trade Shows and Showroom appointments
- Travel Required | 75% Travel
Requirements / EXPECTATIONS:
- Must have relevant wholesale experience
- Detailed knowledge of women’s fashion space
- Knowledge of competitive products and markets
- Possesses familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, photoshop
- Works well with a team
- Demonstrates solid motivation and ability to think creatively
- Exhibits awareness of best sales practices and methods
- Possesses strong persuasive abilities
- Possesses clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Professional but confident and outgoing demeanor
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability
- Ability to multitask, execute, and accomplish goals
- Must have a minimum of 4+ years of sales experience within footwear or outerwear
