unique and innovative leadership role with a retailer whose trajectory is explosive and who is
scaling beyond expectation. The business is based on a FANATICAL SELLING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE PARADIGM.
Flexible, but preferably based in Chicago
This role will be based out of the client’s Chicago HQ with 80% travel to storefront locations
nationwide.
Overview:
The Head of Sales will build a holistic approach to drive sales and lead the store sales teams
nationwide. You will be breaking down the barriers of the traditional experience and embracing
the individuality of both the team and the clients. This will be done by ensuring that customers
are styled by experts who eat, sleep, and breathe fashion. This Brand lives to make their Clients
look good and feel good. This role will build a strong understanding of the brand’s client, the
brand, and the sales culture to teach, train, and mentor all floor staff to continuously reach and
exceed sales goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute strategic and individualized sales plans to achieve monthly and yearly company sales targets and objectives at each storefront location
- Understand the Art & Science of Selling to it’s very core
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the entire sales teams to drive performance and exceed monthly goals; create incentives, contests, & events for motivation and track results
- Hire, Train, and retain management on best practices
- Collaborate with with product teams on current product sales and feedback from employees/clients
- Partner with marketing on increasing conversion rates by using tools such as influencer marketing and store signage
- Partner with planning & allocation teams on markdown strategy.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership roles
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing and developing a high-performing sales team
