Senior Paid Media Manager

The Company & Role

● An international beauty brand that is looking for a dedicated Senior Manager of Paid
Media. This is a multi-faceted, evolving position that provides an opportunity for growth
within a successful beauty brand.
● In this role, the Senior Manager, Paid Media will drive marketing strategies, leading a
team and agency partners to execute and optimize Affiliate, Display, Paid Social, Paid
Search, YouTube, Amazon Advertising and Google Shopping channels to grow sales for
two Beauty brands products amongst new and existing customers. This individual will set
the strategy to meet forecasted sales goals in partnership with a growing team and
agency partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Create annual Paid Media marketing channel strategies with tactics to meet sales goals
  • Launch new marketing channels (Affiliate, Programmatic Display, YouTube)
  • Execute optimization tactics across exiting channels with partners (Amazon Advertising Paid Search, Google Shopping, Microsoft Bing)
  • Develop test roadmap to optimize
  • Pull reporting weekly and monthly, sharing performance to goals and key insights (key drivers, wins, opportunities, optimizations)
  • Keep stakeholders informed through ongoing communication
  • Ensure agency partners and team are clear and accountable to optimize to meet goals
  • Oversee direct report and agency partners, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns (creative, segmentation, tracking for evergreen campaigns and sales/promotions)
  • Manage team, prioritizing needs with the biggest business impact, managing bandwidth and coaching career growth
  • Lead ongoing meetings with clear agendas and timelines to ensure progress made across new initiatives
  • Proactively problem solve roadblocks as needed
  • Lead team to optimize Paid Media channels ongoing to meet monthly goals; proactively determine optimizations, leveraging data in decision making (landing page, creative, targeting, bid tactics)
  • Act as Paid Media expert, establishing best practices across channels (success metrics, weekly agency meetings, ongoing reporting to internal stakeholders, creative specs)
  • Request and obtain creative assets (internally and with third party resources) in partnership with Project Manager and Designer
  • Ensure messaging aligns with brand calendar and Paid Media best practices; test and refresh creative assets consistently
  • Monitor competitive trends
  • Manage relationships with industry vendors, including Meta, Google and Amazon

Who we are looking for:

  • 7-10 years of experience managing Paid Media at an agency or in house
  • Paid Search, Google Shopping, Amazon, Affiliate, YouTube, Programmatic Display and Paid Social experience
  • Comfortable launching new marketing channels
  • Hands-on expertise with setting up and managing Affiliate marketing with platforms (e.g. Impact Radius)
  • Experience creating roadmaps, cross channel strategies and tests to grow sales
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, lead teams to meet deadlines, problem solve and prioritize
  • Strong leadership and communication with both agency partners and direct reports
  • Ability to up-level and clearly communicate strategies while at the same time able to execute campaigns at the tactical level
  • Detailed analytical skills, understanding success metrics such as ROAS, conversion rates, CPMs, CPCs
  • Comfortable pulling reporting via Google Analytics and using tools such as Lookr to analyze insights
